2000年在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院应用数学研究所获理学博士学位。主要研究领域为应用概率统计和随机运筹学。现任中国运筹学会随机服务与运作管理分会(原排队论分会)副理事长,中国运筹学会可靠性分会副理事长,北京运筹学会副理事长。2006年获得教育部霍英东教育基金会第十届高等院校青年教师奖(教学类三等奖),2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。曾先后访问加拿大萨斯卡彻温大学、曼尼托巴大学,西班牙 Complutense de Madrid大学,韩国高丽大学,新加坡国立大学,英国拉夫堡大学,匈牙利德布勒森大学、布达佩斯工业经济大学、日本甲南大学等大学。现任国际刊物《International Journal of Operations ResearchAssociate Editor、《JP Journal of Mathematical Sciences》编委、《数理统计与管理》编委、《运筹与模糊》编委。主持国家自然科学基金5项、省部级项目2项。发表学术论文70余篇,其中30余篇SCI检索论文、近40EI检索论文,SCI他引次数140余次。

研究领域:
 
主要研究应用概率统计与随机运筹学领域中的可靠性理论、排队理论、随机优化理论及其在系统可靠性、随机服务定价、精算风险统计等实际问题中的应用。
代表性研究成果:(1)系统研究了重试排队系统的可靠性问题,得到M/G/1型可修重试排队系统的完整可靠性指标。相关论文发表在国际知名期刊上,SCI引用总次数超过100次,并被Springer出版的两本专著收录。(2)研究了重试排队系统在不同信息精度下的均衡分析与优化策略,给出了复杂重试环境下顾客入队策略的纳什均衡解和社会最优解。(3)提出有限状态PH半马氏信道模型(Finite-State Phase-Type Semi-Markov Channel Model),进一步刻划了传统有限状态马氏无线信道(FSMC)的记忆特性,如慢衰落信道在每一状态的驻留时间、电平的通过次数依赖于相应的信道状态等,得到国际同行的肯定和引用。
20107月他以大会主席身份在北京交通大学组织召开第五届排队论及网络应用国际会议,代表来自美国、加拿大、英国、法国、西班牙等14个国家和地区,规模为历届QTNA系列会议中最大。会议得到国家自然科学基金的大力支持,论文集的出版得到国际著名学术组织ACM的支持并被EIACM数据库收录,国际SCI 源刊物Journal of Industrial and Management Optimizations (JIMO) 遴选优秀的论文作为特刊于2011年分两期出版发表。
