报告题目:Towards deterministic generation of twin-Fock state

报告摘要Twin-Fock state (TFS), with identical particles equally partitioned into two modes, contains strong metrologically useful particle correlations due to their exchange symmetry. Large ensembles of TFS have been generated experimentally based on spin mixing dynamics [1-4], where two  atoms can collide into a pair of atoms in the  states due to spin exchange. Nevertheless, analogous to twin photon generation from spontaneous down conversion, spin mixing dynamics is accompanied by large fluctuations in the total number of correlated atom pairs. We propose to deterministically generate TFS by adiabatically driving a condensate across quantum phase transitions through the control of relative interaction strengths [5]. We characterize the record qualities of the prepared states by collective spin measurements and infer an entanglement of around 910 atoms.
